Your website is promoted via a network of over 70 Websites in Ireland that have over 3 million visitors - our prime job is the generation, capture & re-direction of visitor traffic to our members websites and is a responsibility we take very seriously. Internet Marketing is still a new and evolving business skill - our experience goes back to the pioneering days of the Internet in 1994 providing members with a wealth of experience & knowledge gained over 18 years. New Booking Engine

In October 2011 the B&B Network introduced a new commission free booking engine and booking management system for members. All members webpages and website now all sport the new system that is fully integrated with the guests booking status page.

Booking Status: Guests can now check the status of their booking online. Each time a guest makes an enquiry they are given a Ref. No - this can be used at any time to check the status of their booking/enquiry. eg. Booking been confirmed - Payment or Deposit taken - cancellation terms etc. This overcomes the problem of emails that get caught in spam filters.

iPhone App: The B&B Network now has an iPhone App just for Ireland, listing over 3,000 B&Bs, Guesthouses and Hotels. Click the icon, left, for more info.

PayPal: Payment or Deposits for bookings can now be taken using PayPal - this is fully integrated into the members admin panel booking management and once payment is confirmed it automatically updates the Guest's booking status. Allows you take payment directly missing out the expensive middleman or 3rd party booking sites.

B&B Network Websites

As an Internet Marketing Association it is important to have a major presence on the web - the B&B Network consists of well over 100 inter-linked directories, portals and promotional websites - ALL dedicated to capturing visitor traffic for our members. Hundreds of members websites help provide a high search popularity index. Additionally, our wider Network for the tourism and travel sector has a growing number of regional, events calendars and specialist websites (eg. car rental & Last Minute websites) that act as portals - providing additional visitor traffic to the B&B Network. Members Websites

Each member of the B&B Network is provided with a web page or FREE multi-page website. These websites use a member's unique domain name and this allows them to promote their websites in any way they wish and also be found on major search engines - this is in addition to the marketing and promotion of the website by the B&B Network. These websites can be UPDATED with room rates, last minute deals and special offers at any time via the members admin panel. Last minute deals and special offers are also syndicated to B&B Network websites including 'Special Offers' and 'Last Minute' websites such as Red Dot Deals

Membership Certificate and Window Badge

BRAND B&B NETWORK: More and more people use the Web for booking accommodation than ever before. It is important to show guests you are a member of a bona fide Internet Marketing Association - The B&B Network is an increasingly recognised International ´Brand´.

Displaying the Window Badge and / or certificate acts as a subtle reminder that you can be easily found online and where you can be found matching up nicely with our be FOUND and be SEEN policy. Visitors have become familiar with the B&B Network format and we receive many positive comments on the layout and ease of use of our websites.

Special Promotional Websites

Introduced in 2009, our first Red Dot Deal website promoting Members Last Minute Deals & Special Offers provided a life line during the recession to our Irish members. Such was the success, that there are now Red Dot Deal websites for Ireland, UK, Europe and Worldwide - creating a new ´Brand´ that provides more portals and more opportunities for members. Members posting a Last Minute Deal or Special Offer on their websites, will find them added automatically to the appropriate Red Dot Deal websites (we call this syndicating). This facility is a standard feature of the Premium Member grade.

FREE Internet Merchant Account - for Credit Card Transactions

The B&B Network has partnered with VCG Cash Flows to provide a FREE Members Internet Merchant Account (MIMA). Accepting credit card payments for bookings on-line is now an essential marketing tool as more guests elect to pay to pay upfront to secure the room rate advertised - this is particularly important for Last Minute Deals or Special Offers

This also includes a FREE Virtual Credit Card Terminal (no monthly rental charges) and MIMAis fully integrated into the members admin panel and bookings management system - a single mouse click will confirm the booking by email and take a deposit or full payment automatically either on receipt of the booking or on the guest´s departure. A Virtual Terminal is also included and can be used for telephone bookings or when the card holder is present. Credit card authorisation is done automatically and funds are transferred to a member´s bank accounts within a few days.

Banner Advertising

All the websites in the B&B Network carry banner advertising. Members are given a 50% discount on our normal commercial rates to help them CAPTURE MORE TRAFFIC for their websites.

Mobile Applications

MOBILE PHONES - PDAs - iPhones - iPods - iPads: The B&B Network Technical Team has developed a number of web based directories to promote your business on mobile computing devices (PDAs) and Mobile Phones. These allow the users to send an email or telephone any B&B Network member, whilst they're on the move or at a meeting. The emergence of iPhone / iPad Applications provide perhaps the most important platform for the B&B Network since its inception.

NEWSLETTERS & EMAIL CAMPAIGNS: Our twice yearly International Newsletter is sent to over 80,000 "opted in" readers and from time to time they also receive notification of special offers via email.

PRINTED MATERIAL: We have a DL leaflet to promote the B&B Network at exhibitions, seminars, workshops and to travel agents & guests - members with information racks can request these leaflets (cost of P&P only).

MEDIA PROMOTION: We regularly release information to the media on our activities and new innovations. Each year we have an advertising programme to promote the B&B Network - this is usually aligned with new websites, features or countries to ensure the continued growth of Internet traffic to our websites.

EXHIBITIONS: We make an annual ´pilgrimage´ to the B&B Expo in Brussels every year in order to raise the profile of the B&B Network amongst the trade and public. Here we meet with visitors planning their holidays and vacations and encourage them to find their accommodation and lodging on the B&B Network.

Additionally we attend travel and tourism trade shows to ensure we are seen as a presence in the industry.
